The position

As Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating service requests related to housekeeping, maintenance, pool maintenance, and landscaping.

• Serving as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service-related matters.

• Managing incoming requests via phone, email, and the service helpdesk.

• Preparing quotations and following up on service requests.

• Liaising with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution of services.

• Requesting, comparing, and evaluating supplier quotations based on quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.

• Creating and processing Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).

• Monitoring planned versus actual service hours and related costs.

• Maintaining supplier records and service administration.

• Managing inventory and stock levels of service-related materials.

• Providing accurate information to support invoicing and financial administration.

• Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through professional communication and follow-up.

• Identifying opportunities to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

• Preparing reports and analyses for management.

• Supporting additional operational and administrative activities as required.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys coordinating multiple tasks while delivering outstanding service.

 You bring:

• A Bachelor's degree or higher.

• Relevant work experience in a similar coordinating or administrative role.

• Technical knowledge and affinity with maintenance-related services.

• Experience with a ticketing or work order management system is an advantage.

• Strong organizational and planning skills.

• A customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy.

• The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.

• Fluency in English and Dutch. Spanish and Papiamentu are considered a plus.

A little history about us

Understandably, many think that the name Blue Bay was chosen because of the striking blue water in the bay. The truth is that this beautiful part of Curaçao was already named ‘Blaauwbaai’ (Blue Bay in Dutch), after Anno Blaauw, the owner at the time. He grew limes, oranges and – to make the name even more appropriate – the blue pigment indigo.

Over the years, the plantation has had its share of different owners. In 1800, it was occupied and plundered by French pirates. In the 20th century, it became the property of the Jacobs family, who used it as a farm. During the Second World War, American soldiers manned cannons at Blue Bay to shoot at German submarines.

The master plan of Blue Bay Resort dates back to 1990, when a local development group purchased the plantation from the Jacobs family and built the first infrastructure. In 1997, developer Steve Raspoort saw the area’s enormous potential. Step by step, he established a thriving resort and golf course. Steve Raspoort passed away in 2007, but his family continued realizing his dream to create a welcoming place where life is enjoyed to the fullest. Blue Bay has since grown to become a household name on Curaçao and in the Caribbean.
